The Right Flight School is a Part 61 flight school located in the general aviation
section at the Honolulu International Airport in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Our family operation began in response to questions such as: “Is flying hard?”
and "How much does it cost?"

Our mission at The Right Flight School is to offer the best flight training at the lowest cost to anyone who wants to learn how to fly. We can do this because we have developed four simple techniques that have successfully helped our students learn to fly safely and professionally right from the start.

Ground Training

We provide books and materials from Gleim Publications, Inc., for ground instruction. All the knowledge that is required to obtain an FAA private pilot license is available here.

The Gleim books have organized test questions with answers into one book and their practice test show the actual questions as seen on the written test. Our students have a 100% pass rate using these books. We also recommend only the necessary books and materials that our students need to get their license. Check out our flight school program for more details.

Our experience and knowledge is your benefit. Our instructors conduct one-on-one ground instruction with our students to ensure that each student gets the fullest attention. Our school also offers a ground instruction course should you desire a classroom setting.

Flight Training

We operate out of Honolulu International Airport, one of the most complex airspace any student can experience. We are a FAR PART 61 flight school, and we structure our flight training with a syllabus.

Operating under Part 61 rules enable us to give our students the flexibility to schedule flight lessons based on their needs. We also offer accelerated training to students who want to get their license in a short period of time. The FAA requires a minimum flight training time of 40 hours to obtain a private pilot license. Our students have completed this requirement within 40 to 45 hours under our training program. We can do this because we have developed four simple flying techniques that make learning how to fly any airplane simple and safe from the get-go.

We guarantee that our flying techniques will enable you to fly safely and the right way.

We want this experince to be enjoyable and cost efficient for you. Our training techniques are reflected in our high pass rate with FAA checkrides. As quoted by The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), "When it comes to the FAA checkride, which is the same for all, it doesn't matter where you learned to fly, only how well — including your understanding of aviation academic material."
